Cake frenzy!!!
This weekend : Wassenburg! So it was Ralph and Justyna's wedding :) :) :)
Arrived finally after all sorts of delays (plane, trains, busses sigh!). Ohohoh... small towns in Germany... there was no train connection to Wassenburg, the next bus is in 45 minutes (my god!) for a bus ride of 20 minutes?!?
sigh... went to the florist (!! never get flowers for weddings, the couple has so many flowers for the reception, the house is like a florist after the wedding... so another bouquet definitely will not find a vase)... lovely ... you can go in like the good old days in aachen... I want a bouquet, around 10euros ... for the parents... No questions asked, they do a beautiful job!
everyone's aound on bicycles (no wonder, the buses come hourly!)...
Oh OH So Ralph's dad has 9 other siblings... teh tradition for family festivals is, that everyone has to bring a cake :).. so we had at least 20 cakes, each better than the one before :) ... sigh... We should have this in singapore! Or amongst friends for gatherings. ... (Except, of course, i cant bake :( )...

Just stuffed myself this evening... din eat the whole day so everything looked scrumptious... slice of cake, cheesebuger and fries... 6 pieces of durian... slept... awoke to more food.. dinner, spring rolls, ice-cream... my tummy s bursting now!!! Still - it's not as full as when i was at your place :) u really know howta feed a person!!
Yah!, you should come again, and we can pig out!
OH and also, Vijay is having a stopover for a day in Singapore, I was thinking, he can stay over at my parents, but will be nice if you have some time to listen to him tell stories :) ... hv to get the exact dates from him though....
sure just let me know the date -- but i'll be away for 8 days in July from Jul 14... going ot tibet and maybe if i like it enuff i'll just while away my meaningless life there... spiralling again as u can see with no buoy in sight.
