What is a family

A family is the closest ties anyone can have.
It includes blood ties and more, much more.
It encompasses care, concern, responsibility and love for one another.

Help is offered without being asked...
Love is given unconditionally...
Care is carried out selflessly...
Respect is mutual...

Help need not be negotiated...
Love should not be calculated...
Care is not an exchange...
Respect doesn't require definition...

That means...
Cherish what they cherish...
Share their pain and sorrow...
Help them with their burden...
Be there for them in person...

And do all of it selflessly,
without complaint,
or expecting payment in return.

That is what FAMILY is about.
