Get me an Apron!

Still love dance but discovered something else fun as well.
COOKING!!
Esp cooking for someone. Preparing meals for someone else is super inspiring. So like art/craft -- just get swarmed with ideas esp when you're in hungry mode.
Had super fun ytdy and today : made konnyaku jelly with strawberries and kiwi...
lunch/dinner - had pasta (ok it's from a packet) but still has to be cooked it in a pot by me!
2am - flipping pancakes -- made strawberry pancake, kiwi pancake (one experience is enuff), banana pancake with choc hershey sauce, heart shaped pancakes... semi burnt pancakes..
We were a tad peckish.
Brekky - sausage, scrambled eggs with tomato and bacon; toasted bread w cheese!
Mmm... so heavenly. So loving having someone to cook for :)

Next there's the avocardo desert that I wanna try. And maybe steak or sheperd's pie. Oh the pie wld be great - one of my fav foods!
Tmw am will start with choc muffin (mix from a box) -- but you'd gotta start somewhere right!!! Anyways am oredi getting up at 6:30am so I can serve them hot for my family of guinea pigs at home 1st -- haha!!

I saw this btl of cinnamon sugar at Cold storage -- now craving for a doughnut to sprinkle it on or a frothy cuppa! Sigh.. miss the good ole days of Sydney with the marvellous weather, great apartment with huge oven and the "executive" feeling of living by oneself... so suitable for indulging in a cuppa and doughnut. Over there, I can be anyone.

Aye - have watched "Billy Eliot" - twice. Yup, you're right, Swan Lake was the last bit when he was all grown up and did a huge grand jete (jump) across the stage. Din realise.

What are your other 2 dance movies?? I wanna watch. The "Rhythm is it" is not in english tho.
Have watched "Honey", "You've got served" -- both more hip hop.
One of my fav is "Shall we dance" - more ballroom and "Centrestage" - ballet. Love "Centrestage"!!
"Flash Dance" - not bad as well -- it's jazz btw, so that's what I've been doing. The actress is super cool tho -- have watched her in the "L word" -- if you have les frens pls borrow from them as this series is super YUM!!

Hey talking about foreign films -- can you help me look for Cave of the Golden Rose (Fantighiro). Am trying to look for the whole series. Not sure if you remembered it -- it was cool. So magickal.

I drool... just thinking about FOOD!! LOL!!

I loved the "I love to boogie" tune on the soundtrack (B.Eilliot)! Used to kick off my shows and go crazy and boogie around at work in the evening to the song... with Louisa my collegue.

Shall we dance? I saw the original one (Japanese one, didnt see the richard gere one though)... it was so beautiful, i didnt really fancy hollywoodizing it :).

Besides, love, there are a million and one movies on Tango... AND you will have to watch all that Indian movies (monsoon wedding, bride and prejudice etc)... the Indians are always dancing. -- One of my friends went to the cinema in Madras, and the screen is complete bordered with huge colored lightbulbs. He was wondering what they were, then... the cinema darkened (expect the trailers!), and music on, the lights start blinking/ rolling: And EVERYONE in the cinema stood up and started dancing!!! on the floor, on their seats... This is so crazy!

Ok, eat your heart out, I am going to watch the midsummers night dream ballet tomorrow night :).
