Piggin out

Am on the plane: watched 2 movies till now. Am supposed to read some stuff on support vector machines, but I am too lazy to work. As we have brutally ignored the blog site for the two weeks that LM was here, here is a recap.

Great news: YS is getting married, the date is brought forward to sometime in July. Dont think I will be able to make it, since I am now on the plane back home, and dont really fancy making the same trip again in three months time.

We pigged out... Or rather, I pigged out while LM was here. Had great cakes, great chocolates, great Tom Yum, lovely breakfasts. All my friends loved LM, (too much?) :), that they were all looking for hot dates with the princess, with or without me :). I liked best Vijay's entertainment : I think LM would agree.
"She took a step, I took a step, She took a step, I took a step. She took a step, I crossed the road, SHe crossed the road, I took a step." So now we now, Mum-who-beckoned-albino-indian-julian of Miss-babes-at-the-temple stays, gasp, at 121 Goldbrunnenstrasse. Lets guess: Mr-most-eligible-delicious-indian-guy-possibly-asexual-looks-at-women-only-above-the-neck stays at gasp 119 Goldbrunnenstrasse. Is this the start of a new romance of Fmaily-Jewels?
LM was captivated by *Growl*Little-pig-little-pig-let-me-in *Squeek*Not-by-the-hair-of-my-chinny-chin-chin :) We still have to find the song : because the 3 of us Peter, Vijay, and I-- who only listen to music of people of whom we are celebrating at least 150-death-anniversary... knew the song (gang-green) WHOA-HUU! whereas the super hip were like "what?" :) Ok, I admit the song was playing when (Erhmm,.. when I was sweet 16, Vijay unlucky 13, and Peter sexy 18)... when Jules and LM were still in kindergarten :).

LM probably knows Zuerich shopping scene WAY WAY WAY better than I do. Want to get anything, ask her. The pretty magnetic ballerina was really cool :). It is my fav toy shop :).

We were invited to a movie (Gong Li!!! Memoirs of a Geisha)... Many thanks to he-who-speaks-very-precise-english-peeeeter. I want to watch kimono production in a river (OK, so they pointed out, it is probably not done this way anymore). The music was played by Ishak Perlman and YoYoMa, score by (Williams Vanguahn?> I need to listen to it several times before I can decide, to categorize it as movie music, or place it on nice music.

Oh JA! We (ok I) went crazy on Tom-yum night :) singing chinese pop :)... Thats the same night of spun tales. and 2 strippy tea cups :) Hahahah.... So I get this call at work: " how much rice do we cook?" " use 2 tea cups" "the strippy tea cup?" "yes, the strippy tea cup" -- OK so my espresso cup is strippy too :) so we ended up having one tablespoon of rice for each person :). (Remind me to send pics of the cups)

I didnt do too great a job of showing LM around, the full weekend was completely snowed out, transportation ground to a stop!!! (always blame it on the weather!!)

Phew... i am listening to freebee music on the plane... it is maxim vengerov Beethoven Violin Concerto, I still like my anne sophie mutter better.

Conclusion: We still hv to listen to the Magic flute :) or rather, watch it!! (and yv shd not be singing!)
one super great massage, 2 tom yum dinners and endless sweet memories
