Scalped skull...

Horrendous escapade at a local Bt Purmei hair salon.
Scalp is mighty bruised, emotionally tortured and planning to head shave after next week.


**10 Reasons Never to go back
(OOPS u ONLY NEED FIVE!)**

1. Sucky service. Hair cutting requires personal service - one on ONE. Getting interrupted by the many phonecalls, hair done halfway and yr hairdresser steps out to explain stuff to the previous client, or worse..., leaves a non-experienced person to step in to do an impt step ie PUT IN THE CURLERS!! THIS IS A NO-NO for customer satisfaction.

2. Water sprayed into eyes... I'm sure this can be easily avoid with greater attention and care to your customer's comfort, and NOT trying to deal with everything else at the same time.
PLEASE HIRE A PROPER ASSISTANT IF U WANNA BOOK IN TOO MANY APPOINTMENTS! WE ARE THERE TO BE SERVICED, NOT ACT AS A DISTRACTION.

3. Lack of skill is blamed on the customers' lousy shampoo... we are at FAULT if we have sensitive scalps that require gentle handling.

4. LACK OF CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER'S FEEDBACK
If my hair being curled too tightly is a result of my scalp being too sensitive (as u claim), shouldn't u then endeavour to be somewhat gentler?? Instead of still using brute force and blaming the lack of skill on my shampoo! Or is there no point in saying "PAINFUL!!"

5. Hand washing of hair is supposed to be a relaxing moment, perhaps even a few seconds of soothing massage... Noooooooo. As it turned out, my head felt like it was banged around in a washing machine. And FYI - ears have feelings too. They DO NOT like to be scraped repeatedly by one's nails.

Cutting hair can be a harrowing experience and it is inevitable that not every outcome is to one's desire. That is a fact of life. BUT.... service is quite different. If one is made to be feel like an after-thought, with one's repeated feedback and requests ("pls be gentler...") being ignored, or worse, blamed on the SHAMPOO (the butler)... THEN JUST CHUCK THE NAMECARD INTO THE BIN.
Do not even bother arguing becos obviously they DO NOT CARE. This is a service and if they are so inflexible they can't or won't even consider your feedback, then u know u are just a job to be finished and out the door with.

I WILL NEVER MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN.

Once u've found your perfect hair-person, put in all required effort even if u have to track thru customs to get there, becos in the end, it is all worthed it.
I'm gg to drag my butt into JB even if it's just to get my head shaved BALD! U never know wat other psychos there are locally.
