GAIETY
Imagine being woken up one lazy am to...
"I dun understand why she chose to be gay..."
"they are still young -- they dun know wat they want..."
blah blah blah.......
Music to the ears...
of a homophob!!!
Insulted beyond words.
Shocked, betrayed, disappointed.
Fucking speechless mad.
Sure it's not about me but it's the same shoe.
Humiliate me why dun u.
A more derogatory comment i've never heard.
Do hetero pp get asked :Why are u hetero!!!!!
NO!!
And is it a choice???????????????????
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
And the underlying insinuations!
WTF?!! 2nd-class beings now?!!
2ndly...
Is age related to knowing wat u want???????
No no no!! Even a toddler knows he wants the pacifier.
Is it the best decision -- hell, who's to judge till hindsight?
So... age may = naivete hence not the most wise of choice but U DO KNOW WAT U WANT regardless of your age.
Stop the sheep syndrome please!!!
Even a fallacy said often enuff with conviction will eventually become a truth.
How inconceivably disheartening.
And i get the arrow "Once again i dun care..."
Thanks my fren, u GOT my back.
Words, even with innocence of intent, are still words with meaning...
and consequences.
So forgive me if offence is taken.

I think there is a general social stigma towards homosexuality (hs), even a slight discrimination. Problem is, the definition of hs is as far as most people are concerned, a subjective definition. It is sort of a calling, like knowing what job you will want to have when you are older. In this case, I think, the age factor does come into play. Take for instance, most kids want to become teachers or policemen, but we are not living in a society of only teachers and policemen. As we mature, we know better. When it comes to hs, the same happens. There is societial influence. It may be attractive for the experimental generation (teenagers, etc) to declare their hs, but only for the experimentalism. Many go on to realize later, that they are not hs. What i notice is, for several gays (mostly guys, some girls), is that they do start off with hetero relationships, and only decide later they are hs. Which comes with age and experience as well.
We all get that at some point, mainly a matter of how much you'll allow yourself to take before letting it get to you.
You're not alone.
