Wickedly... WICKED!

Wicked is a musical with songs and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The story is based on the best-selling novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, a re-imagining of L. Frank Baum's classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz.

Wicked tells the story of
Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West and her relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. Their friendship struggles through their opposing personalities and viewpoints, rivalry over the same love-interest, their reactions to the Wizard's corrupt government, and, ultimately, Elphaba's public fall from grace. The plot is set mostly before Dorothy's arrival from Kansas, and includes several references to well-known scenes and dialogue in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

We watched it with Boo-boo ystdy! Ystdy was a great day!!
Elphie is my fav. After watching the musical, I'm inspired to finish the book which has been on the reading agenda for looong looong time and if I'm not wrong, there is a new book!!! Wheeeeeeeee!!
As Sparrow says... I love musicals! Esp those with super cool endings!

Wat's IN melb??

And wat's OUT!!!!! ahahahahahahha.......

**Greco (at Crown's) is a BIG OUT!

Do not be deceived by its array of mouth watering cakes....
the lack of service is enuff to curb your stomach juices.
So unless u win some mulaaaaaas from the casino - dun waste $ on the exp food.

**PAcfic CaFe rocks!
Situated just opp QV bldg, this bbq duck, pork etc place is YUMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!If u can put up w the slightly over salted, yet succulent kailan...but once again, then bill service is almost down right rude. Still, they are mostly PRCs and HKs so it's pretty normal I guess, at least they dun give u the "c u no up" feeling hahaha.

**JuggleART
Where i bought my very own Peddle Wheels!!!
Next on list is the uni-cycle and then the tight rope or balance ball!! Wahahaha!!
And Sparrow wants her stilts!

**DUMPLINGS in Chinatown
Never order the fried ones if u're expecting the usual yummy guotie. The version here is just the steamed ones coated in a strange flour and fried - not very good. The steamed ones are still the best on a cold day in Melb.

**RIBS on Lygon (Little Italy)

Not yummy anymore. Super skinny these baby porkies. Too much ketchup, and the service is already drunk at 7pm.

**KFC BIG BOWL - SEDAP!!

**MAC Coke-Freeze

SUCKS!!!

QVM Branch - has smelly cloth taste!

Hopefully no one's dropped a dishcloth in the mix!

YUCKS!

**WOODEND BAKERY
A small bakery with a mixture of traditional hot pies, pasties and comtemporary Frapps. One of the rare remaining quaint cafes with good and friendly service in Oz...
The frothy light hot choc is not to be missed if one's in the area.
